Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Lazy UIs (“we”, “us”) is an online service that turns Figma designs into Dear ImGui C++ projects. It's run by merkurydev. These terms are an agreement between you and us, and they cover the website, the studio, the docs, and the Figma plugin.

How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

2. Your account

• You need an account to convert designs. You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it.
• Choose a username you're allowed to use, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else got into your account. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• One account per person. The free conversion is shared by accounts on the same browser or network, and making extra accounts to get more free conversions isn't allowed.
• You can delete your account at any time from your Account page.

3. Plans and payments

The Free plan and its limits are described on the Pricing page. Limits can change; that page always shows the current ones.

• Paid once. Paid plans are bought for a fixed time (a month, three months, or a year) or for good (Lifetime), in US dollars, at the price shown at checkout. They never renew by themselves. When a plan ends, the account returns to Free. More time bought while a plan runs is added to it.
• Lifetime lasts for as long as Lazy UIs is offered.
• When it starts. A plan starts once its payment is confirmed: when PayPal notifies us of it, or when the blockchain has enough confirmations.
• PayPal. Payments are sent to us as Friends and Family, with your order code in the note. PayPal's Purchase Protection doesn't cover Friends and Family payments, so questions and refunds go through us, not PayPal. Send the amount shown for your order.
• Crypto. Send the exact amount shown, on the network shown, before the quote expires. Blockchain payments can't be reversed. If you send the wrong amount or coin, message us and we'll try to match or return it, but we can't recover coins sent to a wrong address or network.
• AI review comes with paid plans and has a daily limit per account, so it stays fast for everyone. It may pause if the month's AI costs reach our budget; converting works without it.
• License keys each activate one plan once.
• Prices can change, but a change never affects a plan you've already paid for.

4. Refunds

A plan unlocks every feature the moment it's paid, so payments are generally final. If Lazy UIs doesn't work for you because of a problem on our side that we can't fix, contact us within 14 days of paying and we'll refund you.

A refunded, reversed, or charged-back payment ends the plan it paid for. Crypto refunds are sent in the same coin, to an address you give us.

5. Your designs and generated code

• They're yours. You keep every right to the designs you upload and to the projects we generate from them. Generated projects have no license check and never contact our servers: build them, change them, sell them, and ship them.
• Open source inside. Projects include Dear ImGui, which is open source under the MIT license. Keep its license notice when you distribute your app.
• What you let us do. You allow us to store, process, and render your designs only to provide the service to you, including sending a frame to OpenAI when AI review looks at it. Uploads and generated projects are deleted 2 hours after upload. We don't sell your designs or use them to train AI models.
• Only what you may use. Upload only designs you made or have permission to use.

6. Sharing in the community

When you share a design, you confirm you made it or are allowed to share it, and you allow every signed-in member to view it, download its .fig, and convert it for their own projects. You can remove what you shared at any time. Admins may remove anything that breaks these terms or that someone reports as theirs.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use Lazy UIs to:

• upload anything illegal or harmful, or anything that infringes someone else's rights;
• get around plans, limits, or security, for example with extra accounts, shared accounts, or automated scraping;
• overload, probe, or attack the service, or try to reach other people's accounts or data;
• resell or give away access to the service itself (the projects you generate are yours to sell);
• harass other members or post abusive content in the community or in support.

We may remove content, pause features, or suspend accounts that break these rules.

8. Availability and changes

We may pause parts of the site for maintenance, and we may change, add, or remove features. If we ever shut Lazy UIs down, we'll announce it ahead of time where we can. Projects you've already downloaded keep working either way, because they never depend on our servers.

9. Suspension and closing accounts

You can stop using Lazy UIs and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, abuses payments (such as charging back a plan that was delivered), or puts the service or other members at risk. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you why first and give you a chance to fix it.

10. No warranty

Lazy UIs is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to make conversions accurate, but we don't promise that every design converts perfectly, that the service is always available or free of errors, or that generated code suits a particular purpose. Review and test generated code before you ship it.

11. Limits on liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't be limited by agreement.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and for significant changes we'll also post a notice on the dashboard. Using Lazy UIs after a change means you accept the updated terms.
